<p>Hi all - well, today is supposed to be a day spent with the siblings (to celebrate my youngest brother's birthday) but I got a dose of that unexpectedly this morning. Was asked to help out my brother along with one other sib in tow to grab a free piano for his place.</p>

<p>There was one big thing he overlooked with the rental truck he got just for the job - no pullout ramp (whoops!) However, some studious examination, careful maneuvering and sheer brute force applied correctly, we somehow got that piano from its old home to the truck back off the truck and into his house. Somehow we managed it also without further damage to existing hurty parts for all of us (one bad back, one bad wrist, and for me a re-tweaked calf (frickin-frack - I thought it was healed up okay until I went for my run yesterday))</p>

<p>My first attempt this morning at lemon ricotta hotcakes (a la the ones they had at <a href="http://www.hellskitcheninc.com/HK/breakfast-1/" target="_blank">Hell's Kitchen</a> in Minneapolis) turned out to be more like lemon ricotta crepes (a definite case of overmixing <span><img alt="laughing7.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/laughing7.gif">) Still, though, they're mighty tasty crepes and really don't need anything like syrup or other sweet thing (mine tasted fabulous on their own as well as with some almond butter spread on it)</span></p>
