<p>Ok, I knew our house was not square, but.... our house is NOT REMOTELY CLOSE to being square. </p>

<p>Between me laying out the flooring and Dh trying to get the toilet & sink out of the kitchen bath, there is a bit of a blue cloud over our house right now. <img alt="shock.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/shock.gif">  <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"></p>

<br><br><p>Nothing is actually wrong with the kitchen or bathroom. I'm installing flooring, and there are lots of corners and stuff to notch out, and nothing is square. So I can't just make a cut and go, there is LOTS of fiddling to get all the edge pieces to fit. pffththt.</p>

<p>I get the honor of installing the flooring because Dh doesn't have the patience for all the fiddling.</p>

<p>I'm done with the floor for today. IT isn't done, I still have a few pieces to finaggle around the radiator in the bathroom, but it's 98% there. Thank God, because my back is PISSED about today's activity. </p>

<p>Floor looks way better. But now I feel like my yellow walls are too bright, so while at Home Depot getting a new gas line and transition bar, I grabbed some paint swatches. heh.</p>

<p>That's all I got. I'm just sitting here admiring the floor. I did a good job. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">  Dh has been calling me John all day. <span style="font-size:11px;">(I am my father's daughter.)</span></p>

When I can move I'll put some up. Last few pieces of flooring are all in. Stove and fridge are back in. Dh just got the toilet hooked up. Half bath sink is not back up. (The way the previous owner installed it was sort of wacky, so Dh needs to work that out. heh.)</p>

<p>Still need to paint the quarter round & put it back on. And now I feel like I want to paint the walls cause the color isn't right. :sigh: Still, we're making good progress. I can get started on painting the dining room, and Dh can get a move on finishing the other floors. </p>
