Hi all...first off, Happy Birthday Theia!! I hope your day has gone fantabulously

Got out for a double-digit run today - 10.25 miles along a section of the Bay Trail near Richmond that I had never run before. The city has something of a bad reputation because of it's criminal/gang problem, but the waterfront/marina area is pretty lovely, plus I got to run right through the relatively new Rosie The Riveter National Park (probably not many people make a point of visiting, but it's a pretty nice deal all around.)

Ran my session in typical fashion for me (easy start, but last four miles were cranked up in pace) - I guess what this run convinces me of is that I won't die out there if I sign up for a HM in a couple weeks (I'm still undecided on both the distance and the race, but there will be one that weekend no matter what.)

Once I got back, I ended up trying to bake some white chocolate cranberry pecan cookies, amongst other things. However, after the prescribed time in the oven, these things were looking cookie-like only in shape, not in texture, and I was trying like the dickens to figure out why. Then I remembered I forgot one important thing in the mix - flour As it turned out, I ended up making something what would be akin to a Clif Bar and it was actually pretty good. I might keep this accident in mind and tweak the ingredients (I could see that adding stuff like coconut and agave nectar would make it even better), but next time will definitely be true cookies

Speaking of HM's, great job boB! While you're not in PR shape, sounds like you're not too far off.

Missy - congrats on going to DW and surviving with a youngun'; safe travels back!

Congrats to James and his team, Mindi - he looks sharp in that uni.

Kath - pictures of the finished product please

Hoping everyone had good days today; wishing you pleasant Sundays tomorrow.
