Wind briefs

Perhaps this is too much info, but on one windy run I made a couple of mistakes:<br><br>
1) I didn't bother with the wind briefs,<br>
2) I ran south, with the wind on the way out, meaning I ran North, against the wind on the way back,<br>
3) did I say I forgot the wind briefs?<br><br>
Anyway, I ended up sacrificing a mitten to keep things warm down below.<br><br>

Before wind-briefs? I still prefer to take a plastic bag from the grocery store ( a produce bag works best - they're thin and don't make much noise) and fold it down the front of your pants. Nobody can tell that you've got it, and it does everything that wind briefs do, at absolutely no cost.<br><br>
Just a second to establish a credential or two: I've trained for marathons while living in Saskatchewan. Did runs over 10km long at temps below -40. I've never owned a pair of wind briefs!
