A response I received to the question, "Would you recommend this person for a position impacting national security?"
Why would the U.S. Government even consider a Muslim for a position like this?

My response to the LADY was, "you do know that it is illegal to discrimate against anyone based on their religion?" She retorted, yeah I know, but no matter what color he is, I don't think they should be in that type of position."<br><br>
I decided to cut my losses, and just finish my job.<br><br>
Interesting enough, she called me later in the day to further explain her position and convince me she wasn't a racist. I think she was feeling guilty after she got to chew on her statment.<br><br>
And I can't tell you what position it was for, national security. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>
If it makes anyone feel any better, the lady thought that the subject of my investigation, the alleged muslim, had been in the U.S. for only a few months and worked selling furniture out of his apartment.<br><br>
In reality, he has been here over twenty years and works as an attorney. Top of the class graduate at USC and again at Yale.<br><br>
Go figure.

Wow. Did he give this lady as a reference, or do you have to interview everyone who might know him? Did she not know the guy very well?

She clearly barely knew him and she was about 107 years old, which I think didn't help matters at all.<br><br>
I am required to interview people who you may have come in contact with in your everyday life, without getting too specific, that could be friends, family, coworkers, teachers, supervisors, subordinates, neighbors, association members, golfing buddies, your mailman, pretty much whomever I can dig up.
