I was really thinking in terms of friendships, even relationships with colleagues. . .just people in your life. But it could be romantically, too.

Usually careful and cautious. It takes me a while to warm up to most people. I say most people because sometimes there are those people that come along that I instantly click with and feel comfortable with. I trust that feeling.

I think I am this way also. It takes a while for me to trust most people, but once I trust them I am generally loyal.

for example, I have a newish colleague that I could tell pretty quickly that we had a lot in common so after chatting about non-work things fairly often I offered a suggestion for the both of us and our SO's to do something fun together.......go get some instructions on fly fishing.<br><br>
Well, it looks like we are actually going for a weekend of fly fishing now and both my colleague and I and our wives are totally excited about it.

I'm careful and cautious for the most part. There are a few people I trust immediately, but for the most part, it's going to take a while for you to get into my circle.

So, does the same hold true for people on the internet? If you're careful and cautious in person, are you the same way here (or in other online capacities)? Or is it different because of the medium?

I voted 'careful and cautious' but if I do click with someone right away, I think I tend to over-share.<br><br>
I guess I go to extremes based on the situation/person.
