well...except for the very last song...I may have never heard them...unless maybe they were playing in the background at my parents or aunts/uncle's house when I was a kid and didn't pay much attention to anything but Roy Rogers and Rory Calhoun...

I was lucky in that all my relatives had different musical tastes. So when with the different aunt's, uncles etc I was hearing a wide vareity of stuff. At home it was Hank Williams and some old Jimmie Rodgers records. Then as a young teenager here came Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Bo Diddley, Little Richard and others on the radio. My blues trip came way later. I was in my 30's when..."ok just who is Robert Johnson?" It's cool being back in that..."ok just who is Glen Glenn?"...with the rockabilly trip I mentioned.

There was never a time when somebody wasn't listening, had just listened or was about to listen to some music in my childhood. When we had those family get togethers, yep....somebody was picking and we were all grinning and singing.

You must leave the dark side and come back to your roots.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcLGPZE7bE8

Now that was cool~ However my roots would be Old Hank, since is music is the first I can recall. My dad was his biggest fan. Right now I'm back in that sort of trip with this kind of stuff...

http://www.we7.com/#/album/Country-T...albumId=358532
