I've got nothing much going on right now so someone else is going to have to bring some life to this party. :)

Not much life here either but I did run 10 miles. Got a later start so it was about 85° by the time I got done. Went out easy the first 5 (38:44) and picked it up the last 5 (35:43). My foot problem seems to be going away as I had another pain free run. The right calf/achilles tendon just started to get a little tight at the end so I will have to watch the hills. Time to try to get back in shape if everything holds up.

6.8 miles in the woods. got a late start. Starting to get a little warm and humid here now after what seems like months of unseasonably low temps. Been wearing a short sleeve shirt for the last few days.....finally.

Hi guys!

I'll be partying when I can get back running, KS. In the mean time, I'll be living vicariously thru you folks.

Rip, take care of that calf...both Johnny and I've been down that road a bit too often!

And Johnny....hard to believe it's been that cool that late. We've gone from cool to swelter with not much in between.

Did another spin class this morning and at least lasted until the end of it. It's been a while since I'd ridden much and the butt needed to get used to it again.... especially since I can't stand for long in the pedals. Will probably rent bikes on the Cape next week, so am glad to get over the soreness this week instead.

Have a good one, everybody!!

Hi y'all I'm down to just a few minutes left of my lunch hour. Rt calf/AT still noticeably tight today - maybe heels were a bad choice today. I plan to run a 3-mile slow recovery bit tonight.

Some turmoil going on in DH job sitch...a recurring theme...this latest could work out in his favor - or not. My coping strategy is to stay calm and keep running. Sometime I think how peaceful and content my life would be if there were no one else in it!

HappyFeat I often tell my wife what a wonder place this would be if I could eliminate most of the population. :) I guess I'd get lonely.

Order my first pair of Brooks shoes and they have arrived in the store. I'll be able to run faster and jump higher. Watch out Disco Danny!

Hey KS,

Don't know if I mentioned it but I was talked into trying the Brooks Ghost and they feel great after runs of 8,15, and 10. I last tried Brooks in 1981 and didn't like them. They must have improved a little in the last 30 years . I think Danny Disco still trains in Onitsuka Tigers!!
