hmmmmmm................today I opened up my pantry and said "what smells like sh** in here". I check my feet for dogcrap, check the floor, use my sniffer.....it leads me to my dog's "Beggin strips". I open the bag "ewww". I bring the bag to my son and say "what does this smell like to you?" "ew, it smells like dog crap"

meanwhile, the dog is going nuts, running circles, jumping at the bag, just like the commercial........and "yes" my dog has eaten dog crap before".

Nope! A mouse! Actually, it primarily took up residence in DS1's boots he left out there... about 100 torn up corn kernels, some gel wrapper tops, a lollipop stick and some other stuff... a real mouse house! Guess I need to clean the garage more... Stupid mouse at cub scout popcorn, that stuff is expensive!

too funny! we are relatively new dog owners (going on 8 months now) and I just can't get over my dogs uncontrollable urge to eat excrement from any and all creatures. Bunny poop is like pirme rib to this pooch. His nasty little habit has resulted in a couple trips to the vet to rid the dog of the parasites that are found in bunny poop. Any adivce on how to solve that problem would be greatly appreciated

I feel your pain, Spin. I have two, 10-yr old Goldens. One in particular needs to go to poop-eaters anonymous. Although, he only seems to like his brother's poop. My vet cave me a powder to put in my other dog's food to make his poop taste bad - really, you have to try for that? It didn't work. Back to square one....

ronbo--we had a similar thing. The desk chair broke so someone tossed it out on the deck. It was winter and the chair kinda got forgotten. One evening hubby put said chair in the back of the station wagon so he could put it in the dumpster at work the following morning. A couple days later I used the car to go to the grocery store. I found mouse poop and a bunch of chewed stuff. Near as we can tell, a mouse had bedded down in the chair, eating like a king with all the bird seed on the deck. I do feel bad that the mouse probably ended up stuck in the dumpster...
