It's breakfast for dinner at the hobey house. Waffles & applewood smoked bacon.<br><br>
Since it's been one of those days, I'm tempted to swing by the store and pick up a bottle of prosecco for mimosas or something. What other cocktails go with waffles?

We had a variation of pot pie. Chicken simmered in italian dressing. Add brocolli/cauliflower/carrots and a can on cream of mushrooms (aka gorilla boogers). When heated, add about a cup of cheddar cheese. Put in 9x13pan, top with biscuit dough and bake 'til browned. It was really good! Only a scant piece for leftovers...

Ended up with a prosecco which I mixed with a bit of fresh raspberry puree.<br><br>
Plain waffles morphed into chocolate chip waffles by the time I got home....yes my day was <b><i>that</i></b> bad.

Last night was pizza breads - I've been buying this flat bread, Naan, brush with olive oil, top with diced tomatoes, olives, garlic, oregano, and grated asiago cheese. It was yummy. that with a salad. Tonight I'm finally making the mushroom soup I was supposed to make Tuesday. The cremini mushrooms are looking past their prime, but hey, they are a mold, right?
