Me? I will be going out with the missus to look at iPods. As a birthday present I got her a USB turntable and now we want an iPod so that we can have access to the converted records.

Bought one. Also purchased an FM receiver docking type thingy for the car, but at the recommendation of the guy selling us the iPod we bought it at another store. 
 
Looked at a really neat Bose docking port that we are thinking of buying. The sound is amazing. We have a good sound system / home theatre but that's downstairs. Our stereo is decrepit and maybe the Bose would be all we need.
 
It came down to a choice between an iPod touch that did all those fabulous extraneous things for more with less storage but Flash memory and the older mechanical drive (but 160gb) Classic. Classic won out. Wallet lost out.
 
Then discovered that the kids had loaded up half our CD's onto our home computer already. Bonus.
