Hello folks, nice new digs here!<br><br>
My son wants to try a tri before he leaves for the Marines this summer. I tried to find a pool swim tri, but none fit our schedules. So we are looking at the "Littlefoot tri" or the "Tri for your cause." They are on consecutive weekends in May. They are lake swims so I would need to rent a wetsuit for him if we are both going to do the race. Anyone know where I can rent one in the Front Range area?<br><br>

I have heard that Fleet Feet in Boulder rents them. There is also a place, apparently across the street from Boulder Running Company in Boulder that is a tri place. You might have to call BRC to find out their name.<br><br>
You might also google colorado triathlon clubs, as I think there are several around. I'm sure they could point you somewhere.

As a side note, I've thought about Tri for your Cause. I'm just not sure about the cold water, and I don't really want to mess with a wetsuit.<br><br>
Last year they held it in August...

I bought my wetsuit from that tri shop in Boulder. It's called Colorado Multisport. Really nice guy there who went out of his way to help out a newbie and answer my questions. One of those times when it would have been cheaper to go buy the wetsuit online after I found the right size, but after the way he helped me out I was happy to spend the few dollars extra to buy it there.<br><br>
I just thought I'd ask about rentals here in case anyone had a good reference to give. Plus I'm fundamentally lazy... I'll give them a call and see if they rent 'em.

You might try the Runner's Roost stores, as well. I know they sell them, so its possible that they rent them also.

Courtney - I'll let you know what I find out for sure. You should really try a wetsuit out. Seems like you are really limiting the races you can enter around here without one.
