Even though I won't be there this year, I have a couple of buddies that are participating in one form or another.

With that, I can't help but get nostalgiac about this race.

I might even wear my buckle this weekend...though it'll look a bit odd with my surf shorts. Or maybe I'll wear it on a big chain around my neck...Flavour Flave style.

Best of luck to all those that are running & crewing, or just plain cheering.I can't think of a better place to be this weekend.

Can someone explain to why Hal Koerner is eligible to run this year? He DNFed last year, so he doen't meet the top-10 criterion. Do they have a special category for previous winners? I'm rooting for him but he's got some tough competition.

Go LPJ!!!

Just following some friends on-line. Ellie Greenwood is a fellow Fat Asser who's transplanted to the Banff area & she's currently 6th female...she has a very strong finishing kick, so I'm hoping she wins this thing.

Way to go Jason...you were probably running with my fellow Peak Bagger, David as you were minutes from each other at the finish. He had a celebrity pacer by the name of Ferg.

Also....two other local running buddies finished in 20:37 & 20:42.

Huge congrats to Ellie for winning the womens race. She was 18 minutes off of Anne Trason's record time, & this was her first WS100 attempt....what an amazing year for her!!!
