I was the captain of my basketball team, my senior year. We only won 2 games that year. They fired the coach the following year. I scored the most points on my track team, but didn't win the captain election.
I never had much desire to be captain of anything. Actually, I'm not sure if there was a captain position... drama club for a while, Junior Classical League and Writer's Club most of the way through... Academic Team might have had a captain but it wasn't really paid attention to.... I suppose cross-country did but I wasn't on it for long... I helped found the GLBTS alliance at the school, but that only lasted half a year and we lost our teacher sponsor.

I guess I'm not a leader
Bikegirl and dcoroner were both head cheerleaders? But they seem so normal!

Did you ever go to a National Convention? All I really remember from the one I went to was all the Georgia kids chanting G-E-Orgy-A! over and over again during the spirit competition.

Wasn't a captain of any sports teams, though I was president or an officer of all sorts of clubs. I spent way too much time at my H.S.

I was a big girl cheerleading standard wise but I kicked ass and took names. However I also hung out with the stoners. I was a pioneer in the stoner cheerleader world.
