This is weird but true<br><br>
On Monday DW and myself went from home to the NEC(National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham for a Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms Trade Show - To help finalise things for our new refurbishment and extension at home<br><br>
As usual on a longish trip I reset my odometer as soon as I get in the car (not sure why - just being a geeky Boy <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">)<br>
We stopped at a Motorway services for a Bathroom break and as I got back into the car I looked at the Mileage - exactly 112 miles - I told DW that from home to here was the length of the Bike leg for Germany - her exact words were that i was mad.<br><br>
We travelled on to the NEC and as I came off the motorway to the centre I got cut up by a van driver and had to go around the roundabout a second time - We parked and went nto the exhibition spent the day looking at an choosing cookers and taps etc and left (tired and 8 hrs later ) for home<br><br>
When I started the car again I looked at the trip milage it was exactly 140.6 miles - <img alt="huh.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif"><br><br>
The extra trip round the roundabout had made the difference<br><br>
I do not know if this is a sign (Either good or bad ) but it was a bit weird<br><br>

I reset my odometer when I fill up. When I got home from swim on Monday night it was on 70.3

Very cool. What's even better is that 112, 140.6, or even 2.4 or 26.2, you are gonig to rock Germany unlike any other Ironman has before. We know it.

When you think about it, 112 miles is a long way to go in a car let alone on a bike. I agree with your wife...we are all mad.
