My little brother when I was growing up would refuse a PB&J sandwich if it were presented to him with the PB on top. Simply flipping it wouldn't rectify the situation.

Well, today... I stopped off at this market/deli and ordered a small container with a mix of their cousous and and curried chick pea salads. The gal serving me asked if I had a preference as to the order of the salads in the container and I laughed... "It'll all get mixed up in my tummy anyway."

The girl behind me looked at the order that it was being put in the container (chick peas and then coucous) and said "Ewww. The Chickpeas should be on TOP! Ewww".

Umm, I get to my desk, mix them up and eat them. Am I unclear on the concept, or are some people a bit too, ummm, finicky?

Clearly the couscous should be on top. That girl is just wrong.

I have a cousin that doesn't want any of the food on his plate to touch and he eats one item at a time until it is finished before starting the next item. He's 40.

I worked at Wendy's when the kids were babies ... there was a lady that would come thru daily and order a jr bacon with pickles added (came with Mayo, tom & lettuce) ... she wanted exactly 10 pickle slices ... and would open her sandwich and count them at the drive-thru window EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I think 'cob' salads are weird .... a salad is supposed to be well mixed to insure a flavorful blend of ingredients, right?

I don't really care if my food gets mixed up a bit - some pretty good flavor combos come about from mixed food.

My cousin is married to a woman who eats ONLY PB&J, but fortunately she doesn't care which side is up. This woman is now in her late 50s and still won't eat anything that isn't the consistency of baby food.

My three year old won't eat the crusts on his sandwich. If I cut the crusts off, he eats to the edge of the sandwich as if there were still a crust on it.

My six year old painstakingly removes the "skin," or "bags" as she calls them, off each piece of edamame.

Another friend hates ice in her water. At restaurants, she always orders water with no ice.

I will not eat half of a banana. My husband will occasionally cut a banana in half and put half on his cereal. I always leave the second half for him, and will grab a fresh one for myself. This holds true even if I *see* him cut the banana in half and I'm making my breakfast at the same time.

Other than the stuff I can't eat because it will make me sick, I'm not really picky about how it's served or if things mix.
