RULES
• Weekly Weigh-Ins.
• Weight loss should be rounded to the nearest half pound.
• You can weigh in whenever you like during the week. All I care about is that everybody’s weekly weight is in google documents before 8PM EST on Tuesdays.

SCORING
• You'll be awarded 100 points per percent body weight lost per person (i.e. if you lose 1% body weight, you'll be given 100 points). Any fraction of percentages will be given the corresponding fraction of 100 points (i.e. if you lose 0.34% then you'll get 34 points).
• 200 point penalty per 1 percent body weight gained.
• Anyone who maintains or loses weight from one week to the next will receive 50 points. Those who lose weight will receive the additional points based on the percentage lost as mentioned above.
• Any Team Report not entered into google before 8PM Eastern Time each Tuesday receives a 100 point penalty per day.
• Each team will be awarded 250 bonus points per 50 team pounds lost.
• Top 3 Weekly Individual Weight Losers (Pounds): Bonus Points: 250
• Top 3 Weekly Individual Weight Losers (Percent): Bonus Points: 150

March 18th will be the final weigh in.

(and I'm thinking we might do another one right after that will end the week before Memorial day...but we'll see...)

I'll set up the google documents this weekend, and once the captains have been selected I'll send out invites to those spreadsheets. It should be very easy, and will only involve entering the numbers.

Thanks HH.

Wow, eight weeks doesn't seem like a long time to me. Focus, people, focus! Was that the idea? Was 14 weeks too long before?

My half is March 16, so it's actually perfect timing for ME. Drop a few pounds and make me faster. (Or not - about the faster part).

Edited to add I just saw that comment about having another one ending the week before Memorial Day. I'm hoping I won't need that one by then.

Ellen,
In my experience, about 90% of the participation drops off after 8 weeks. We do about 4 challenges (of different types, not all weight loss) at work, and if we go past that, people just flat out stop caring. It's weird.

Me personally? I could use a 52 week challenge
