<p>2lb loss, probably from the heat.</p>

<p>The left foot is still sore. Looking back in my running log I see that I have been noting it for about 8 weeks but didn't pay it much attention because of other parts that were hurting. Apparently it is more serious than I thought. Hopefully it is just from using shoes without enough cushioning and not a stress fracture.</p>

<p>Last week was a lousy 22 miles. I am thinking of taking several days off to see if it helps. I have average 120 miles a month or a year, I should be in better shape than I am. A 4 month training program for a fall marathon should start about now, but why stay injured by running injured?</p>
