Morning all. Performed my weekly weighing and I was just slightly down. That's good for 2 reasons: 1) I have maintained the losses of the past two weeks and 2) I was invited out to dinner two days in a row and ate more than I would have otherwise.

Last week 211.4 and today 211.2.

If I behave this week I would like to see 209.x next Monday. That would be another mental victory to see the number fall below the 210 mark for the first time in perhaps nearly 8 years or so. Still marching towards 190-195 and my goal.

Hope you all have success this week in your drive for a better you.

Well, although I waited too late in the day to pop the wine open, I am pleased to announce that since August 29, 2007, I've now lost 21 lbs.

Another 9 to go, and I'll be at my "I'm happy" stage. Another 19, and I'll be at a weight I haven't seen since I was 24. Not sure how realistic that one is, but we shall see!

Incredible job. Ailarie!!!! Keep up the great work!

I'm a total slug. This cold is moving into weeks long now and really getting me down. I haven't been eating as much but I've also been moving a lot less. Frick!

Great job Ailarie!

Well today being a holiday I cant use the digital scale over at city hall ( which is what I normally weigh myself on Mondays )

I got on the scale at home and it showed 206. That puts me down a pound from last week but just 1 lb shy of my goal of 205 for Philly, Ill take it.

Im not sure what the next goal is going to be, maybe try to get to 200 by my b-day next month. That actually might not be too hard as I have my jaw surgery on the 12th so I probably wont be eating a whole lot for a while.

I have a big goal for next year of getting down to 175. Like Ailarie that would be a weight I havent seen since my mid 20s

Colleen how often do you do Pilates a week?

Speaking of lunges. True and funny story here.

In college I went to the gym all the time. Me and the other white boyz wanted to dunk a basketball so we decided to start adding lunges to our workouts. I think we only used the 45 pound bar the first workout. Did like 3 sets or so. Didn't seem like much at all.

THE next morning my first sensation of consciousness was feeling pain in my buttocks and surrounding area. And you would know I had a class on the 2nd floor of a building with no elevator. I was like 21 and felt like I was 75 going up and down those stairs. That is my permanent memory of lunges...... those stairs the day after......
