Scared ya with that "accountability" thing eh? Just seeing if you were paying attention. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
The scale was up 1.4 pounds. No excuses, not using the holidays to blame. I was simply too inconsistent last week. I'll do better this week. Gonna try to eat more fruit as well.<br><br>
I wish you all a great week of fitness, firming, toning and weight loss.

Nearly. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad"><br><br><br>
So PART of my problem, is that I stopped working out more than a couple times a week...<br><br>
So I'm enlisting you all to help keep me honest...<br><br><img alt="" src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a149/HeavyFeet/wkout.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br><br>
As you can see, Monday was a wash...and I have class tonight, so it's likely today will be, too.<br>
BUT...the idea is that I need a minimum of 30 minutes of something (except lifting. I superset, and can finish in 20) to check off a box...and I want at least 5 check boxes a week...just to establish the habit.<br><br>
Shrot term goal:<br>
5 - 30 min workouts a week from now until the end of the year.<br><br>
Medium term goal:<br>
lose 30 lbs<br><br>
Long term goal:<br>
See how I feel about starting the C25K once I've lost the weight...

<b>Heater</b> I love the spreadsheet! 30 minutes 5 days a week will be easy once you get into the habit. Schedule your workout just like you do your class.
<b>HH</b> - any room for walking (and maybe lunging) around before your class tonight? Something short that can work with your schedule today?
Like a leisurely walk?<br>
Sure.<br><br>
But a good heart rate raising walk?...<br><br>
I have to sit in these clothes until 10:30...<br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
What about a leisurely walk and getting in plenty of stairs? Not bounding them two by two but climbing whatever you can.<br><br>
And maybe stopping by a CVS and picking up a deodorant stick for your backpack, just in case <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">
I would take a leisurely walk over no exercise any day. Seriously, there are days in the summer when DS#2 walks with me, and I walk a lot slower with him. The benefits are still there. Walking programs will have days when you walk fast and other days when it is more like a stroll. As long as there are other days that you exercise when your heart rate is at an increased rate it balances out.
I do climb stairs when I can...<br>
And there are a few big hills around here that I could walk up...<br><br>
Hmmm....<br><br><br>
But the CVS is a 7 mile walk from here... I'd need the do-ro-do-rant and maybe some Mr Clean Magic Stink Remover...
oh...<i>okayyyy</i>...<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
Yeah, I walk to work (2 miles) at a leisurely pace and I think it's been super helpful in controlling my weight.<br><br>
Managed to make some oatmeal with raisins for sweetness this morning. Just had a snack of cashews and banana chips. Lunch will be a tuna wrap and some yo-yo-yogurt. Post-lunch snack will be an apple and then dinner will be pasta and some kind of a veggie. I also remembered to bring my water bottle today!
HH, you can totally check those off this week.<br><br>
What is your plan for tomorrow? Specifically? I find that when I say "Spin today, run on thursday, elliptical on Friday..." etc I do better... It's not so up in the air.<br><br>
Speaking of, I am really going to Spin class at lunch today. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
So, post your plan for tomorrow and Friday. Whatcha gonna do?
I did pilates, high intesity cardio and strength training last night=60 minutes. Tonight is day 2 of OHR week 8, I think 36 minutes of running.
Today - yoga or run (depends on when I get home)<br>
Tomorrow - run & weights<br>
Friday - swim
I'm down half a pound this morning. Woo. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad">
You must have meant Wooooo!!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/banana.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="banana"><br><br>
Down is down! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
<a href="http://www.mypyramid.gov/mypyramid/index.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.mypyramid.gov/mypyramid/index.aspx</a><br><br>
You can customize to your height/weight/sex/age.<br><br>
Neat.
Well that was rude. First thing it told me was that I was fat. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/huh.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="huh">
It didn't tell me I was fat, but I was waiting for it.<br><br>
I think I'll try it's suggestions for veggies, I need some serious help getting veggies into my diet. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad"><br><br>
And <b>wyri</b>, well at least it did go down instead of up again, but I'm still miffed about gaining 4 lbs so quickly in the first place.
I know I am still overweight, so it wasn't a big surprise. I am less overweight than what I was. Now I don't look like I am, before it was pretty definate.
Those pounds will soon be gone! I just know it! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"><br><br>
I don't get enough veggies, either. Some days I look back at my journal and the best I could do was ketchup.
