Well I dreaded posting in this thread today. Up until Saturday I just had a really bad week on a personal level. I had several bad days of eating too much, etc. I was dreading my Monday morning weigh in but was prepared to face the music and deal with the consequences of last week.

When I stepped on the scale I was amazed....... 208.8 down from 211.2 last Monday, 213.4 a month ago exactly and from 215 5 weeks ago....I feel a personal spreadsheet coming on. heh. Perhaps a few bad meals didn't derail me after all. I haven't weighed 208 since before 2000. 190s here I come!!!!

On Wednesday I will take my monthly measurements and see that the tale of the tape reveals.

I wish you all positive numbers and a healthy lifestylish week.

Congrats, Maples! I forgot to weigh myself this morning. I really want an unhealthy, fattening lunch today as a reward for the race yesterday (can anyone say BOBBIE????), but I spent too much $$ this weekend and brought my lunch instead.

Morning, all!

Grats on the loss Maples. You've been coming along very steadily the last few weeks, it seems!

I broke even for this week. I'd lost a little more in the early part of the week, and then gave in to a chili coney & tater tots combo from Sonic on Friday, and Saturday I just had way too much crap food, overall. (helloooooo tostitos / bean dip binge!) Ahh well. Gotta eat well for the first part of this week, as Thursday and Friday, at the very least, will involve eating way too much food, I'm sure!

At least turkey is fairly low fat and low cal!!!!

Up 2 lbs to 137. I was really bad the past week though. I was in Laughlin so I had no choice but to eat out. I had a lot of really good food, but did not manage to run to work any of it off so I gained. I expected it, I am just not happy with it.

I haven't been getting on the scale, but I judgemostly on clothing size. I have been doing the Skinny Bitch diet (vegan) and have dropped a dress size in 2 1/2 weeks. Lots and lots of veggies and water. Soy products are also ok. No processes sugar or white flour or eggs. I like it and can really tell a difference in my energy levels.

Seeing as how I wasnt in town yesterday I couldnt weigh myself. Although I did weigh myself on PhillyToms scale Saturday morning. Even after eating a huge nasty greasy hamburger and fries the night before I weighed in a 202.5 lbs That would be a drop of 3 lbs from last week. But being I like consistency, i weighed in at the city hall scale today and I was sitting at 204.5 so still a pound down from last week.

About the only thing I can chalk it up to was I didnt eat 3 meals a day while I was in Philly. I pretty much only ate breakfast and dinner everyday. I was too busy to eat lunch. Oh that and run/walking 13.1 miles on Sunday

For any of you Rocky buffs out there. While I was waiting for the race to start and they were playing the Rocky music over the PA, I remembered in the Rocky move were he wrestled Hulk Hogan. Rocky asked Mickey how much Hulk ate, Mickeys reply "about 202 lbs" just as the ring announcer announced Rocky weighing in at 202 lbs. Ironic that im in Philly, in front of the museum steps, listening to the Rocky theme song and at that moment was weighing 202 lbs

Great job Maples, you are doing really well.

I still haven't gotten on the scale, but I did buy a smaller size pair of jeans yesterday. I can't ever remember wearing this size, not even in high school. So yes I am a bit excited.

So, yesterday was ok. For dinner i had my pumpkin ravoli with a glass of milk. Post run I had a boost (high protein). I didn't feel too great after my run so I waited a while and had a small piece of pumpkin spice cake right before bed.

I think after the marathon, I will concentrate on weight loss and speed work. They should go hand in hand. I hope.
