I posted the above in last week's thread by mistake.

Yes, Superbowl Sunday typically means poor food choices. But the game's not 'til 6:23 or whatever, so you have plenty of time for a good workout before kickoff! That way you'll feel less guilty about snacking on chips, dip, beer, etc....

Great job Colleen!

I'm on track to be down this week, too. Will weigh in tomorrow for the weight loss challenge and wed (b/c that's the morning I weigh myself and have been doing so for too long to change now)

Went to bfast w/ my DH and MIL yesterday morning. Restaurant has a big bfast buffet (e.g., strata, pastries, all kinds of quiche, hash, bacon, etc). I was tempted but stayed strong - had an vegetarian eggbeater scramble!!!! Yea, me!!! Would have liked the buffet but am proud of the choice I made!

Hey all ...feeling good about food choices and plan to weigh in mid-week. I've been able to stick with stuff lower down on the food chain which has produced much more energy and lots less of tummy aches/uneasiness.

Keep up the great work!!

I think I'm even. But I ate a lot of crap this weekend, so that's ok.

My mom was here, and we had a mid-afternoon run in with some candy when we were out shopping and starving. Never a good idea.

But, aside from that, we actually ate decent, all things considered. We did go out for a great burger and fries on Saturday, but I had plenty of my weekly points (WW) left for that.

Mom just left and I am going to throw out the crap that we picked up. If I don't do that, I'll just eat it all!

Hey kiddos!!! Just thought I would say hi!

Wyrillco I had a similar run in yesterday with a very tasty bag of M&Ms. Evil I tells ya! But I am with you, I either make DH take the goodies to work or I toss them.

HH I saw your posts in last week's thread. Have you tried aqua jogging? I have been back to it recently and honestly it is a terrific workout and really takes a ton of pressure off my aching body! I have also started doing it with some water dumbbells to give my upper body some more work. Might be a nice addition to your routine right now. I really feel for you, back issues are the absolute worse and since you have had surgery I know mine can't even compare to yours. Keeping you in my thoughts though, I know you will battle through this and come out on the other side doing fine!

I'm not sure if I'm holding steady or down, but I'm pretty sure I'm not up (I weigh tomorrow). Only did ok on water this weekend but did have a lot of veggies and fruit so that was good. Will let you guys know tomorrow...

I think I may have figured something out....

if I eat out / snack / salty foods it seems to take my body a good 3 days to get rid of all the salt even if I double up the amount of water I drink. So, now I know to eat on Friday so I can have a realistic weigh in on Wednesday.

Oh, m&ms, yum. I tried convincing myself that the dark chocolate m&ms were ok b/c, well, it's dark chocolate and that's better for you. I've moved past that and have nto decided that if I'm going to splurge on chocolate I'm going to get a decent piece (e.g., godiva, lindt).

Good job, everyone, on the positive steps / thoughts!

I'm pretty sure you'd be down 0.5, since you lost blood AND you have to burn energy to make new blood anyway. Nice work and yay for donating!!

So far I am down big... 3.5 pounds! Big Wow for me as I am not that great at the dieting. But NOT dieting (says the voice in the back of my head) Lifestyle changes
