Heading to the dr this morning, just a check up. I am a bit nervous, my weight isn't wear it should be yet. This morning I weighed myself before I left the house, just to be prepared with what the scale will say at the dr's office. My scale varied 11 pounds within the span of a minute. In the last year I have lost a lot of inches from my waist and hip area so that is good. The weight is getting harder and harder to get off.

Good luck, Colleen, with your appointment. That reminds me that I need to schedule a checkup, trip to dentist, etc.

I weigh in on Wed - think I came through the weekend pretty well as I kept busy and made really mindfull eating decisions.

Hi all. I am up 2.0 pounds and I knew it. I've been bad and I deserve what the scale says. But today starts a new week. I'm going to do better and lose those 2 and more by next Monday.

Good luck to everyone this week. Be consistent and be successful.

I'm thinking of weighing myself sometime this week - I'm just feeling lighter for ONCE Food choices have been good and after a little dip in my energy levels I think they're starting to level out.

It went ok. I didn't loose as much as I had wanted, but he was happy. Still have some work to do in that area. I mentioned that I have been struggling with the same pounds for a while. He suggested I eat more on the days I run, and see what happens. Since I am already journaling my food, he said to keep a total of what I eat, increase on running days and see if that helps move the weight off. On non running days, cut calories by 100. Goal for this year is 43 pounds. Yikes!!!

I told him I was getting discouraged, and both he and the nurse told me I am one of a handful of people they can name in my age range that have actually lost weight in the last year. That I have consistently in the past two years, drops the number of people even more.

I know I can rely on you guys. I just get discouraged, it seems like I have been doing this forever. Of course it has been a while, you don't lose the weight I have overnight. I know I am doing it the correct way, not relying on surgery, or magic pills etc etc. I really just want to meet my goal this year.
