<p>While I'm not convinced Spring is right around the corner, I do feel like we're over the hump.  I have to apologize for not being right on top of the weeklys - my daughter and two of my sons had birthdays this past week and spare time has been in short supply. 4 Teenagers in the house now.  Pray for me. <span><img alt="icon_compress.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/icon_compress.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;"></span></p>

<p>I'm still battling with this hamstring-related issue, and now have a cold on top of things, as well as lousy sleep and the heat-headaches again. Fun, fun, fun!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>We leave for Aruba on Friday, hopefully the change in climate will knock this cold out of me pronto.</p>

<p>Thursday...maybe swim.......................................................................................................................................done-0:50</p>
<p>Friday......foot feels better so I'll go for a short run..................................................................................done but still injured - 2.38 mi.</p>
<p>Saturday...long Easy Ride(r)...............................................................................................................................done-18.71 mi. in 1:37</p>

<p>Total................................................................Only about 8 1/2 mi. running but 6:43:24 spent in fitness activities this week, up from 5:57:40 last week</p>
<p>When injured, I force myself to look at the positive side.  I had a more well-rounded week of exercise and one of my higher time-spent weeks of the year.</p>

Monday: 14 mailed<br>
Tuesday: 6 miles<br>
Wednesday: rest<br>
Thursday: 3 miles<br>
Friday: 3 miles<br>
Saturday: 10 mile race (4th AG with a 1:21:09)<br>
Sunday: 6 mile relay race (2 legs of 1.5 miles) in the snow and ice. 5 miles total<br><br>
Weekly total: 45 miles

<p>Ouch.  I injured my knee playing volleyball over the weekend.  So my easy come-back is now even easier.</p>
