Yay for Meri!

I got me some TRT training in, I ran the Pilot Mtn Payback Marathon on Saturday - the goal was to finsih alive and beat last year's time. I just about survived, and beat last years time by a whole minute or so. I just loved this race, tough climbs (figured something like 6700' of elevation gain), quad burning descents, steam crossings, some very technical trail... just a great race.

Here's Pilot Mtn run to the top, round the pinnacle at the summit, and run down:

I love me some mountain running.

Then Sunday, I went to Jordan Lake with the pups for a "feel the pain" run - run on heavy tired legs, just to remind myself that it is possible to move when your legs don't feel like it.
