I look forward to meeting runNVtrails in July.

I ran a loop at Umstead on Saturday, it was beautiful weather, and the hills on Turkey Creek were just as steep as always. - Then on Sunday the pups and I took part in a "Geezer Pleezer" run it was a 4 mile race that is handicapped by age - I had a 2.5 minute head start for being an old fart. It was the fastest I have ever run in a race of any distance ever. Quite proud.

Red Rock was great tho ! and i had fun gettin myself lost there for quite a few miles. A perfect trail runnin trip, just the right amount of challenge right now. And after the trails there was a lot of luxury, r & r , a few trips to the swami and great food, food , food ! i was going to do the Beast of Burden run that weekend here in NY but i really dont need any more beasts of burden .... that was just crazy ... i'm in it for the fun of it, real life is enough of a struggle. that would not have been fun ... terrible wind on a repeat out n back course .... no thanks
