Happy Saturday all! Well - we did get quite a bit of snow (8-10 inches?), but mostly the wet heavy crap that hangs on trees and is a PIA to get rid of ... boo. Going to deal with it tomorrow (as it stopped a couple of hours ago).

Got on Zwift for a good 2 hour+ group ride. No hills - about 50 miles fairly steady pace ... Yo, I have a direct drive trainer (Cyclops/Saris Hammer H2 - so a generation old now). I like it because it has a heavy flywheel that adds more realism - and I assume accuracy is pretty good. Zwift has their own now - runs about $450 that seems like a good entry point price for direct drive.

Geo - apparently our home area got 6-7” wet heavy snow as well. Not too excited to deal with it when we get home late tonight (Sat). Way to go get in 50miles on zwift! I bet you would surprise yourself when outdoor riding rolls in!

8 mile run with DH around IL’s house. Got all documents needed to do their taxes and actually half way done on turbo tax. So all good.

17miles on slushy wet mess on a beautiful sunny day with friends. I would take this ride over trainer any day :).

I wasn’t appropriately dressed for this wild ride… shoes/feet are completely soaked and right running tights over a bike short got also completely wet. A cup of coffee drink with snack by a lake-side tavern ended the adventure ride with an exclamation mark. There were water skiers putting a nice snow. Nice Sunday for sure :).

Its kind of snowed on and off for days. On Saturday getting wood to stack on the porch was a bit of an ordeal plus 1 hour weight training I think its snowed 6-8 inches very fluffy over night
Today skied 12 miles after wall yoga class. Went to the back basins as the temps fell I an one of my ski buddies (on the same Fischer skis) found that our metal edges, metal bindings and the metal parts of our poles became encased in ice. Our guess is the moisture from the wet snow below was sublimating into the air and condensed on the metal then the powdery stuff on top stuck and as the temp fell built ice? We spent some time scraping it off and were finally able to make it back more skiing than "snowshoe"ing. Tired now!
