Hey gang,

Well - paying for a week of feeling a bit blah (and general slackerdom on Fri). Got back on Zwift today for about 50 miles. First ride was meant to be 62 miles, but it was multiple laps around a 1.2 mile loop - and by about mile 20, figured I wouldn't be able to keep it up (group pace at that time was 26 mph) - so quit that ride, and then rode 30 more by myself around virtual France. Legs are knackered - I think from the first vigorous 20.

Looks like you might have some good snow this weekend, Zoj!

That’s cool, Geo,that you can keep track of DD’s run. And I saw the zwift in action first time today at a friend’s house. Pretty impressive for sure.

Surprising snow this morning. Just enough time to get in 4miles run before getting together for the chili contest in the downtown nearby. Nice get together with friends without bikes. Walked to the town from the friend’s house so total walked about 2miles

Did your chili win? :) And was there anything that cleared your sinuses?

An hour on Zwift today. Group ride for 45 mins, and then rode 15 more on the same route myself. Over 410 Zwifting miles this month (even with the week of slacking), so I'll take it.

Awesome miles on Zwift! So do you have the fancy newest (?) zwift trainer? I can see one can get hooked on it and ride often like you do!
The chilli cook off was by the restaurants mainly, but the fire department was the last year’s winner. I guess, for appealing to the general public the the spice level wasn’t too high. Most of the restaurants ran out of the chilli in 3 hrs or so..!

31miles on a glorious sunny day on my Journey man with 8 others. One hill, we tackled, had 19% grade for a split second! Short but hard. Fun day again with my tribe. Then enjoyed walking with DH while listening to “Wait wait don’t tell me” 25-yrs special. Love this show. Anybody listened to it?

Sounds like a fun day. That's a steep grade! (fall off your bike if you're not careful). Caught a bit of the "wait wait" while in the car coming back from shopping - caught Leonard Nimoy, Steven Colbert, and Mae Jemison. I like the show, but usually only catch it when I happen to be in the car at the right time.

Mostly 17-18% … we all were a bit nervous as we rode down a few weeks ago and knew how steep it was.. all made it to the top!
Cool that you caught some of the wait, wait, hahaha!! Here in Michigan the show is on 10am and 4pm on Sat then again 4pm on Sunday on NPR, so I usually catch one of the times! :).
