no bowy guy required. This sh!t is fun

the colder temps allow you to wear capris and that keeps the majority of mud out of your arse. Not all of it though. Also the freezing water makes it so you know the water crossings are coming up about a half mile beforehand....because of the screams. I was a regular mud pile at the end of it. One of the guys on our team who was dressed up as a giant chili pepper and carrying a beer mug used said beer mug to dump mud down my back before the first crossing. That was the beginning of the end

The last crossing was by far the muckiest with the mud almost taking everyones' shoes and a little bit of a mishap on the ascent (my foot slipped just as I had a hand up which caused me to go sideways in to the embankment and then slide down.) When I finally got up to the top, there was about 500 feet of slippery mud to cross. 2 of our peeps did not stay upright in that section. I ended up throwing away my socks, shoes and the mens novelty capt america undies I wore over the top of my capris.

No running yet for me. We got freezing rain over night and the HP has advised no travel. I wouldn't imagine even if I got to the lakes that the trails would be treated either. I will look to run after it warms up...unfortunately AFTER I lift....if I can even get there.
