<p>* I hauled a lot of junkyard-shit and clutter out of the backyard of my mom's house. I'll have it hauled away next weekend. She's pushin' 70 years old. I'm young-ish with working knees and a generally functional body.</p>

You are going to look years younger than me!  But, I really loved getting warm all the way into and through my bones in the sun.</p>
<p><br>
I was alternating between, "The Genius in All of Us" by David Shenk and "In the Name of th eWind" by Patrick Rothfuss.  The genius book is interesting - premise is that no one is truly born with genius.  The other book is a wonderful fantasy novel, so far at least.<br>

<p>I took my daughter swimsuit shopping.  A resounding success, especially since I came home with a dress and a pair of pants as well.</p>

<p>Did laundry and hung it on the line.  Mmm best smell ever.</p>

<p>Went for a lovely walk in a park.  Went out to lunch with my son, then did birthday menu shopping with him.  He wanted mango and papaya in the fruit salad...</p>

<p>Then I drank beer and read feminist blogs.</p>

<p>Sat - attempted my long run but it was Sofa King hot I only made it a few miles. Made some tart serving plates and a [clay] blueberry tart to use as a prop. Volunteered at a concert for the local arts council and didn't get to bed till 3am.</p>

<p>Sunday - slept a lot. I'm too old to stay up till 3am. Watched movies. Was a potato. Oh, wait. Fired a kiln. That was about the only productive thing.</p>
