Weekend WIPEOUT FUN 7/16 & 7/17

Fun! Baby Chance (strange name) arrived yesterday... good weight & health. Awaiting reports about how mama is doing, but there are already pics of Husband 2.0 holding his first little one.

Fun! I got a text msg at 3am (okay, that wasn't fun at first). My neighbor's horse, Vegas, had a little girl! I'm going to visit them after my run this weekend.
 
For this weekend's fun tune... I found one fromhigh school days.... pretty much guaranteed to make ya smile!

Woot - love the baby horse pictures!! Babies with their mamas always makes my heart melt - no matter what breed/creed/origin.

Ha, Chance sounds like a perfect horse name!! What a coincidence!
 
Fun: went bowling with the boys today and got a turkey! That is 3 strikes in a row. After a spare. So I hit a 145. Woot. I don't typically do that. 
 
More fun and much overdo: I repotted a boatload of plants that I initially potted almost 7 years ago. They desperately needed it, but after separating them, I have more plants than I know what to do with. Wish you all were closer so I could give you each one. I love sharing plants with friends/family. I planted peonies in my front yard from the house I grew up in and they are exploding. I have shared mucho plants with my friends and family and think of them every time I see them. Good stuff, simple to share, and well worth it.
 
Even More Fun: Boys and I had burritos for dinner! Yummy! A rare, but fun treat for us to do together. We've made burritos together since they were babies. Awesome.
 
FUN FUN BUT NOT FUN: My cousin (aka child care provider) got a second interview. <img alt="wav.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wav.gif" style="width:225px;height:33px;"> Sweet! She just finished college and she is awesome!!! She is ready for the next step and a great job. Um, but what do WE do next?!?!? <img alt="confused.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/confused.gif" style="width:16px;height:21px;"> (not to be insanely selfish, but seriously <img alt="confused.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/confused.gif" style="width:16px;height:21px;">!!)
 
I've been so blessed to have a trusted family member as our nanny. It will work out. But I am a little bit "oh shit" right now and a lotta bit "go girl!!!" right now. Hope she lands this......Please keep your fingers crossed and send good mojo to my Megan!!

Up until a few years ago I thought ponies were baby horses. Then ponies grew up and became horses. True story. I cannot tell you how absolutely shocked I was to find out that this was not the case.

 i worked yesterday and had a quiet day and today we spent most of the day sailing around manhattan. it was absolutely GORGEOUS out and a perfect day to catch some wind

anyhow, our offer was accepted so our housing inspection is tomorrow. hard to believe this all moving forward. yipppeee!!!!!!

NOT FUN: It is about 750,000 degrees here and will be all week. AND OUR POWER JUST WENT OUT. Not a grid issue, but our mains got supah hot and flipped. Seriously - hot to the touch. Not cool. We waited a while and just got it back on, but now I am supah flipped out that: (1) our house is going to burn down; and/or (2) we are going to have no a/c. Of course #1 would be much worse than #2, but #2 would also REALLY suck.

Quick fly-by from PA. A great friend visited this weekend and we watched the final Harry Potter film and went to a wedding. Fun! My sister's family will visit tomorrow and then Tuesday is the visit to the lawyer. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
