Teaching grade one 3.5 days a week. Have subbed the other day, but don't really NEED to, but when friends ask, I'll do it. I am in a temporary contract right now, without an end date so I don't want to give up the retail job quite yet (it will be needed during the summer and is really good pay for retail) , and I know that it will slow down to 4 hours a week or less right after Christmas. So these days all my planning is happening Sunday morning before my shift and Monday and Tuesday nights. I'm trying to get them to cut down on the weeknight shifts, but everytime they hire an extra person someone else quits so they are always in the "pinch" that I told them I'd help with if they needed it on weeknights. Today is my first Saturday off in I don't know how long, (like probably early July when I went out of town) so I want to make the best of it in my classroom.

Did you retire, or are you still at it. Have you ever used Jolly Phonics?
