sing...the jam is at my BF's sister's house. It's just an annual party. you don't have to be able to sing or play an instrument to go though...just fun.<br><br>
ETA: oh, right, you probably meant about the recording last night. Yeah, I sing in this back up group, The Get Up Choir, for <a href="http://www.myspace.com/bleutopia" target="_blank">Bleu.</a> If you click on the Pavillion show clip, you'll hear us.

We have a storm coming through. I'm working on resume stuff at the moment. When I get these worksheets done then I need to finish a sweater for a baby shower which is <i>tomorrow</i>. The jam sounds like fun. I started taking mandolin lessons this past fall. I'm going to try playing music with a friend this afternoon. This is the first time I'll play in front of someone other than my teacher. <img alt="uhoh2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/uhoh2.gif">

So COOL! My grandfather played mandolin! He was a band leader when he was young. He still has his, but I've never seen him play it. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> It's the one thing I would like to have when he passes (knock wood, no time soon! although he'll be 90 this year!)

Dh has a cool old mandolin, and took lessons years ago. He also tried to learn to learn how to play bagpipes... But he isn't disciplined about practicing and all that so it never really went anywhere...
