I'm throwing pots today. Hopefully they'll turn out ok. I still feel like I'm 100.

It was 30 when I did my run, much better than 18! I did my 3.25 mile loop that has an extra .75 hike up my mountain. So 4 mile total. I wore a pair of shoes that should have been retired and my achilles and arches were screaming at me the whole time...so I got into an ice bath after to make sure I didn't mess them up. Today is just 1 mile with 2 110's.

Stay warm!

Good morning!

5 sunny miles this morning. The pace was a little speedier than it has been and it felt good.

Good runs to all!

I was awake at 6 freaking a.m. and could NOT get back to sleep. wah I wanted a sleep in Sunday!

So I got up and made a homemade Latte ala Moe and then did P90X Shoulders and Arms. 3 miles on tap for later, if I am able to dress myself. Jello arms. I may hit the gym again tonight for my run, it was totally dead last night. I'm still really surprised by the lack of resolutioner crowds.

5.35 solid and unspectacular miles outside today. Really thought the conditions would have been worse with the amount of snow we got yesterday but it was pretty decent. Solid end to a less than ideal running week.

Off to enjoy some playoff football!

Despite yesterday's protest, I went for a run outdoors today! It was on a bike path which wasn't completely clear of snow which was a plus because it would have just been an icy mess if they attempted to remove ALL of the snow.

People really know how to enjoy their winter in MN. Lots of walkers, runners, a few cyclists, people ice fishing, people on skis, a little girl with a sled, etc, etc.

Well, despite my whining about being tired and sore from yesterday's run, I went for another run today anyway. I did just under 4 miles. I felt wiped out the whole time -- and I feel really wiped out now -- but I made it through. I wonder if I'm coming down with something...

Nice work peeps. It is really cold here too. Half way through my long run, my fingers were tingly and cold and very very ouchy. Almost packed it in and ran home to finish up on the treadmill. Fortunately it only lasted for about 4 miles so I was able to stay outside. Logged 18 glorious miles to finish with 53 miles for the week. Haven't seen mileage like that in months - feels great! My HR has been nice and low lately too.

Bob - I hope you are not getting sick. I have a little bit of a head cold and have been frustrated b/c I have felt a bit dehydrated all week despite downing tons of fluids. Bah. Hopefully next week will be better.

RIL - woohoo!!! Breaking 50 miles in a week is NICE work!

I've had 3 45ish mile weeks and hope to eclipse 50 next week.

Hang tough boB, I hope you're not getting sick too. My little guy has a fever and general not feeling good. I hope I don't get sick.

Weather was nice today so I headed out around noon in the glorious sunshine and 50 degree weather to get in 9 easy miles. I have the day off tomorrow and I'm trying to meet some of my running buddies for a run, but it's supposed to rain most of the day. Ugh.

Hi Everyone--

Hope you are all well and happy to see you back on the horse, RIL with big mileage! Hope you are not getting ill, Bob and every freakin' mile, Moe!! I'm glad you liked the bike trail, Nettie...it's way more fun in summer, but still pretty.

Got together with Nettie and Sage on Friday--good to see all. The roads were horrible so we'll have to do it again with B&B and Cindy when it's less, uh, winter-full.

Been working out a lot lately--I realized that I need to step it up a bit to make gains. Friday ran 12, (in two sessions), Sat ran 10 more (???), today 5 and then over an hour of insanity and core. I am a winter giver-upper so have been putting in TM/track miles but am starting to run faster. My goal is stronger first and then add interval/speed. However, I need to get outside soon regardless of weatheras I'm doing Securian--the 10k which is ALWAYS freezy. :)

Luau info soon. Come on over. We'll be dancing this year.

Be good, yous.

Your mileage totals are inspiring!

8 miles running and 2 miles walking on the tm today with football an James Bond for company.

Luau? Dancing? Where? I'm in. :D Hopefully somewhere with 50 degree weather (so jealous Tim!)

unfortunately, it is in MSP and will probably be -30 windchill; we have a bad and ironic habit of picking the coldest night of the year almost every time.

but, it's always 80 in the house, you will be wearing flipflops AND we have green drinks.

glad to see your running is going well again, Duck!
