I'm throwing pots today. Hopefully they'll turn out ok. I still feel like I'm 100.

Whatcha got? Anyone racing?

No racing here. I'm going out for a long run, though. I'll try for something close to 20 miles. Not sure if I'll make it that far, but I hope to at least get in the ballpark.

It's friggin 18 degrees outside. This might not be too pleasant...

Btw, I realize that 18 is a heat wave for some of you people in Minnesota and what-not. But it's a little colder than I'm used to...

Ugh. Wow, that was a struggle. I didn't make it to 20 miles. I managed 17.5, but it felt like much more than that. I suppose there could be some reasons for that: A) This was my first run over 12 miles since the Charlotte Marathon more than a month ago; 2) There was still a bit of snow underfoot which made for a slow go; and D) I'm still carrying the few extra pounds I put on over the holidays.

At least it warmed up a bit. It was 35 degrees by the time I got back home...

I don't think I was aware that Little Rock was hilly, but meh. That's becoming par for the course for me lately. I didn't know that Charlotte was hilly until I arrived in town and everyone was talking about it. Well, at least I know in advance about Little Rock! And if only the first 16 miles are hilly, then the last 10.2 should be a breeze!

RFTL, I'm glad I read your blog post. Now I have a better idea what I'm up against in Little Rock...

Tim, you had a great run yesterday. If I'm complaining about the cold, I can't imagine how you southerners are dealing with it.

And nice treadmill work by some of you other folks...

I think I really might need a day off today. I've logged a run on each of the last 11 days, and I think I could use a day off...

Well, despite my whining about being tired and sore from yesterday's run, I went for another run today anyway. I did just under 4 miles. I felt wiped out the whole time -- and I feel really wiped out now -- but I made it through. I wonder if I'm coming down with something...
