I'm throwing pots today. Hopefully they'll turn out ok. I still feel like I'm 100.

Bob - 17.5 sounds good enough, all things considered! And 35 degrees sounds heavenly!

I'm heading out for 15 miles of hills soon. I started googling to try to find out more about Little Rock's course and everyone is talking about the first 16 miles being hilly. WTF? I didn't realize that! Luckily I've already been doing hill stuff at least once a week, but I'm gonna step up the hill training from here on out. 13 degrees, windchill of -2. At least the sun is out!

I'm 100% certain that running in the snow takes a lot more out of you than just running on the pavement.

It does. When I was doing the Low Heart Rate running last winter (or maybe the winter before??) my pace was much slower at the optimal HR than when I ran on clear pavement (still in same temps). I can't remember the numbers, I have them somewhere on my old blog, but I remember that the numbers were way different (confirming it is a lot more work to run on snow, even packed snow.

Nice run Tim!

Nettie - sorry I missed seeing you last night. Hope to see you for beers or a run, or both, soon!

Saw on twitter that Baggs kicked butt in International Falls! 2011 is gonna be his year!

The hills are gonna be fun, boB. They will make us appreciate the beer and festivities all that much more when we are done! The thought of them gave me a much-needed kick in the butt. I blogged about The Hills.
