Same 8 or so miles as yesterday but more of a tired slog than anything. 54F, clear but with 84% humidity. Just not feeling it.

I did my 10-mile mountain road run again. Much quicker than Monday's post-long-run trudge...

Track workout for me this morning. No numbers as I hit "stop" rather than "lap". Oh well. Felt really good out there. Running that is. 45* and 100% humidity. So foggy that at times I couldn't see across the field. Finished a sweaty mess. Sight of the day, though, was a track walker. Lane 1, walking the wrong way.

Zoom goes the fly-by...

11.8 miles on the trail loop near home this morning. A cool 56 and dark when I started, with headlamp. Switched from headlamp to shades halfway through. Now I have to get ready to jump in the car and drive 90 miles each way to/from a meeting in Aberdeen, MD. Can't wait til this brutal work week is over.

Good morning everyone. Nice job on all the running and such. I got in an uneven 5.15 miles. I was going to stop at 5, but I need to put some antifreeze in my wifes car, so I ended at my driveway. total time 45:44(8:53). It felt good to just go slow today and relax.

Yikes, busy day for the folks in the real world. Well anyway, I keep managing to find new ways to torture myself on the bike. Today was quite painful from very early on. I wanted to keep the ease of last week's workout (3min on/2min off) since it let me be dead tired but know to start every 5 minutes. I didn't want to have to worry about how many seconds to stop at and whatnot. I still wanted to do 3min intervals though and decrease the rest, so that meant something new had to pop in. I decided to kickstart every 3min interval with 30secs of all out though....oh so much more fun.

10min w/u, followed by 11x[30sec all out, 3min hard, 1:30 recovery], ended with 5min c/d for 70mins total. HR taken immediately after each interval had me in the 180s mostly, getting down to the 160s by the end of the recovery. I love how easy it is to check your pulse stationary biking. 6secs and add a zero! I sweated through my entire shirt, front and back, and still managed to lose a couple pounds. I will sleep a deep sleep tonight...

Hi everyone. I woke up with a sore throat, and have had one all day. I'm going to try and gut out an easy 3, because I have a wee little streak going that I'd like to keep up.
