Yikes, busy day for the folks in the real world. Well anyway, I keep managing to find new ways to torture myself on the bike. Today was quite painful from very early on. I wanted to keep the ease of last week's workout (3min on/2min off) since it let me be dead tired but know to start every 5 minutes. I didn't want to have to worry about how many seconds to stop at and whatnot. I still wanted to do 3min intervals though and decrease the rest, so that meant something new had to pop in. I decided to kickstart every 3min interval with 30secs of all out though....oh so much more fun.

10min w/u, followed by 11x[30sec all out, 3min hard, 1:30 recovery], ended with 5min c/d for 70mins total. HR taken immediately after each interval had me in the 180s mostly, getting down to the 160s by the end of the recovery. I love how easy it is to check your pulse stationary biking. 6secs and add a zero! I sweated through my entire shirt, front and back, and still managed to lose a couple pounds. I will sleep a deep sleep tonight...

Have a great night!
