Me...

Rare noon-time run for me. Got up early this morning in attempts to do a hill/speed workout but I felt extremely sick to the stomach, so at the end of the block I turned back for home and another hour of sleep. Wife has gone vegetarian again (she does it every few years for a year or two), and since she does all the cooking, I don't complain. She tried this, I think it is, meat substitute that is mushroom based but that tastes nothing like mushrooms. I think it's supposed to take the the flavor of things around it. Anyway, I support her and her efforts and morals, but sometimes my stomach is the one that pays, and this morning I felt so sick to the stomach that I felt ill and had little energy. Nothing sleep and a few potty stops couldn't heal. So I brought my run gear to work for a hill/speed workout. Which is fun to do once in a while because my body is nearly always very strong and powerful at the noon hour as compared to morning. So I had a tremendous workout with high power! So...

1:05 hour run hill/speed workout covering, maybe, 8 miles with 5 charges of a long gradual incline of roughly .85 miles:

o WU - 10:23

o 5 x Hill Charge w/brisk jog back down:

1) 4:56 / 6:23 (on / off)

2) 4:49 / 6:29

3) 4:44 / 6:35

4) 4:46 / 6:43

5) 4:45 / (back to work)

*Stayed very strong and consistent on charges but needed more recovery time on the jog back down. Solid workout!

Great day, Tri-peeps!
