2,000 yards in the pool this morning. There was a nice man in the lane next to me, and when I was done we chatted a bit (he was resting). He looked familiar in a "I know you swim here" kind of a way, but clearly I've talked to him before because he knew my schedule!

Nice guy: 2,000 today?

Me: 2,000!

Nice guy: Run later?

Me: Yup!

Amichel, what's your goal for your Turkey Trot? I learned the hard way a few weeks ago that it's really hard to cram for a race in a short period of time. Assuming you are not looking to PR or make this a goal race, I think your plan is doable. I might make one or two of those easy runs more tempo-ish, but again it depends on your goal and expectations for the race.

Nice run, Brandy! Be good to yourself, Tonya.
