Have fun doing something, Kath.

I only took the time for a 20 minute jaunt on the TM yesterday. But I did some raking and spent some more time in the attic with the insulation. (Still not halfway done with that. Man, it's taking forever). Today I'll go to the park for a tempo run. Probably something a little over an hour...

Well the dibilitating nausea that followed my 3miles yesterday wasn't so great, even if the run was good.

Today will be some time on the trainer!

Tonya - you feeling ok? That sounds horrible!

I did 6.5 yesterday with 3 x 1 mile repeats.

First at GRP - 919 meh

second at faster - 852

third at faster than faster - 833

It was a little disorientating running fast at night with a head lamp on. That first interval felt way harder than it should have. Oh well. Not a bad night over all

Yeah, thanks. It happens sometimes... mostly around a too sharp of a drop in my blood sugar.

2,000 yards in the pool this morning. There was a nice man in the lane next to me, and when I was done we chatted a bit (he was resting). He looked familiar in a "I know you swim here" kind of a way, but clearly I've talked to him before because he knew my schedule!

Nice guy: 2,000 today?

Me: 2,000!

Nice guy: Run later?

Me: Yup!

Amichel, what's your goal for your Turkey Trot? I learned the hard way a few weeks ago that it's really hard to cram for a race in a short period of time. Assuming you are not looking to PR or make this a goal race, I think your plan is doable. I might make one or two of those easy runs more tempo-ish, but again it depends on your goal and expectations for the race.

Nice run, Brandy! Be good to yourself, Tonya.

huh..that is interesting. I wonder if I get that too. If I run in the morning, I often felt a little sick to my stomach and almost gag at times, especially if it is cold out. That is weird

(((Tonya))))

Butt tape, 3 miles alone, 1 with Gus, and then core stuff. I really can't wait for the city to come and suck up the leaves, because for a couple sections I have to run through grass, and the ground is all bobbly. It's pissing off my ankle.

Some of the leaf piles along the river are as tall as I am.

Hi all - I busted out an old yoga sequence (sun salutation A) and some other assorted poses for a half-hour or so last night. Figured out that I've gotten more flexible in some areas and mucho tight in some others. Think I might try to drop in on a yoga class on Friday or something to see if this is something I want to continue for a bit.

Ugh Tonya - hoping for less trouble on those workouts there.

Morning all! Gonna get myself out for a nice easy run tonight, the weather is way too perfect to not run and I feel like most of the marathon soreness is gone.

Tonya - I've felt like that after a run too, in fact just a couple weeks ago while in a subway going home. Not.good.

Brandy - nice progression!
