Morning Kicksters...

Up at 4 stared at the ceiling for a bit then ate came on down here. Surprised to find no one here. Cool and clear here this morning but equipped with my new tights I will venture out into the dark morning for another 23 minute run. Get to kick it up a few tomorrow for Veterans day.

Speaking of vets, any sign of Dave lately?

Morning gang. I have my kit and would like to take advantage of the great weather but it seems that my ankle is not happy with me. So, will have to play it by ear as there's no reason for me to run other than to run. My running services have been requested at the Austin marathon in Feb 2011. Sounds cool as we have friends there but the sensible side of my brain says it's not a good idea. Plus I said I'd never ever run a marathon again (until the next one).

Jill - Have super fun! Is super easy pace between recovery pace and easy pace?

chances - look and yee shall see... Nice swim. Enjoy the brick. I'm afraid we'll loose you to the MultiSport forum soon.

kfuller - nice looking 5'er. Also, please keep that weather to yourself as I'm enjoying the upper 60s here.

Loopy - another 10? You have mad skills.

Dan - men in tights.... 'tis the season. Hope the run goes well. I was wondering the same about Dave.

Dave is having some major knee issues and posted on Facebook that the doc said a replacement may be in order. If you are the praying type, send some his way.

I got in 10 miles in just under 91 minutes on the trails this morning. Now off to buy some new shoes.

Rob - Pics are gonna cost ya. Achilles still acting up?

Jill - E-A-S-Y does it.

Kevin - Weather improve any?

RA - Listen to that ankle. Sounds like "the next one" is lining up.

BBS - Nice running. Bummer about Dave. Will definitely be sending good thoughts his way!

Ended up with 26 minutes and added a hill. Think I'll pay tomorrow. It was the tights that made me do it. Wish I'd taken my gloves. First time my hands were cold.

Sorry, but it's another flyby... Made it to Tucson safe and sound. Bit of "excitement" landing in Tucson. The pilot was on the wrong runway. Few nervous moments sitting on the runway waiting for a tug to get us on the right one, but mostly it was a PITA since I knew my parents were waiting.

Fun little trot this morning. Stuck with a loop route so I wouldn't get lost. But, managed to get lost anyway. First half mile was a good climb, and what goes up must come down. Had hoped for 10, but had to call it quits with only 8.5 as the quads are shot.

4boys - We were in Tucson/Phoenix over spring break earlier this year, it was gorgeous but yep there are some hills and you got that altitude.

Quick one for me also, managed to get a bike ride in yesterday finally something outside. Missed yoga this morning but should make it today anyway. Lots of good vibes on the knee for Dave, that is a shame.

Hi all, fly-by between meetings. Still resting post-marathon anyway. I did go for a short walk last night, may try jogging for a few minutes tomorrow.

Happy trails (or roads or treadmills) all.
