I am going to run a few miles this morning. It is 20 degrees out there - brrrrrr. One of my primary objectives this weekend is to pick an early spring marathon and write up a schedule. While I have been enjoying slacking, I am feeling like a

I didn't run yesterday. Spent the evening doing errands instead. Oh well. I'll try again today. My parents are coming into town today, but they'll have to wait for me until I finish my run...

6 easy miles - and I have to admit the weather was fabulous. 20 degrees is delightful when there is no wind. Fun: DS now wants to run with me tomorrow, so I get to start out my Thanksgiving with a 5K with my boy! Yay!

The 3 mile run I did and the 90 minute awesome yoga class I took last night were totally cancelled out by the beers I drank with the running store guys afterwards Today, I swim.

Bob - saw your response to my question yesterday. 4 hours seems like good goal for Charlotte!

I got 6.4 miles done super early this morning. Wanted to get my run in before the ice and snow gets here.

Morning all. 5.5 windy cool miles this morning. Not going to be able to do the 5 K I wanted to tomorrow. Timing and logistics are not working out. I will get in a run in the AM to help offset the later festivities. Good luck to all the turkey trotters.

Morning all! I had to swap out a morning run with a trip to the grocery store, my sanity was worth it. Will shoot for an easy short run this afternoon, expecting to leave work early. YAY!

Little miss evil this morning. My abs already hurt and they don't usually hurt until the next morning.

I think today's sleet and tomorrow's flood advisory are putting a damper on the Pie Run. Not officially canceled yet, but I will likely hit the TM instead of driving 45 min for a 5K that might be canceled. No biggie.

hey kids,

i had a second to check in so here i am. i try and read when i can (from my bberry while on the road...pretty safe, huh? i do make sure no one is around me when i'm distracted. and, i don't do it that often.).

i'm too am psyched to see you(s) getting back after it - you(s) being the returning from injury/break/etc crowd.

winter, it's great to see that you have rekindled your love affiar...with the mill. nice to see you back around these parts.

now a Pie Run is something i could really get into!!!!!!!!!!! yeah baby!

RIL, i have to the cheers on DS wanting to run w/you. how cool.

litch, you still working in some core work and stuff these days?

i never did see what went on in philly other than jill snatching a bq (congrats!) and lots of spectating. how is baggs faring?

trev, still on a running streak? last i saw it was 13 days.

not much activity on my end to report on - i am able to get to the gym 2 or at best 3 times a week - today being one of them. (in protest to having too many things to do).

i rode the boredom bike for 25 min (w/2X 30 sec standing intervals @ max setting), ran on the TM uphill (13%) for a mile and then 2 more miles at 6%. i can't believe i'm missing the awesome weather - 48* perfectly sunny - but i'm really trying to follow the doc's orders (well, mostly) by limiting myself to the TM. sofaking boring.

happy turkey to all of you - yes, even the canadian contingents. you deserve some cooked bird too.

Mmmmm. Margaritas....

5 miles at lunch today. Took it easy, tried to run with good posture and open hips. I was cursing the cold wind because it was making my eyes water when what should appear along the path - a pair of cheap light sunglasses! They are a bit feminine and have little jewels on the lenses, but what the heck! So that made the trip in a bit easier. Stopped to walk once for about 100 meters just to do a systems check.

Slow day today, eh? I guess everyone is travelling. I hope y'all made it to your desitnations safely...

I was able to get in a 6.6 mile run this evening. Tempo pace (8:15 avg), and I'm pleased with it. I decided not to do a Turkey Trot tomorrow, so I wanted to get some speedwork in today. I'll probably do a couple easy miles tomorrow morning, but nothing stressful. It won't be enough to work off all the calories I'll consume later in the day, but at least it'll be something.
