Ugh. Rough day for me.<br><br>
I went up the trail after work today. Minor problem, I forgot the CamelBak today. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> So I had to use hand-carried bottles (2 20oz.). Since I was doing a repeat on the miles 3-7, I was able to stash the bottles at around the mile 4 marker (which is also the mile 6 marker, the mile 8 marker and the mile 10 marker).<br><br>
To make matters worse, I have a very sore throat that I have been fighting in all day. Every time I swallow it hurts like hell.<br><br>
Not a great day for me, but I got thru it. A real struggle tonight. First I have a sore throat that I am hoping is not strep throat. Second, I forgot my CamelBak today so I had to use handheld bottles.<br><br>
Since I had to use handheld bottles, and since the course is an out and back, and since I was repeating miles 3 to 7, I stashed the bottles just after the mile 4 marker.<br><br>
I stopped each time I passed the stashed bottles to get a drink, and one time had a GU. I did not take this time off, and probably added up to at least 1 full minute.<br><br>
The last 3 miles were pure hell. Thank heavens they are mainly flat.<br><br><b>Run Segments<br>
