x - good luck!

Thor - thanks for your kind words. I am pleasantly surpised that I haven't had the totally dead/tired feeling at all this year in spite of about the same volume of workouts after Boston. I may not be working as hard on the MTB as on the road bike, but I am enjoying it way more.

TT/hobey - have you tried nasaquor (spell?) for your allegies? You squart this thing in your nose. It works great for me.

7miles including the middle 3miles at the track full of drills, a few 200's and 400's. Legs were bit tired from the yesterday's 2hr ride but still moved well. I am really enjoying each and every training these days. 30min strength training planned later somewhere.

also, do you think it's a bad sign when the web site for a race organization vanishes the week before the race you wanted to do? there was supposed to be a 1 mile swim in amesbury MA this sunday. now the web site seems to be "pending renewal" or some such.

3200y at masters swim this morning...must have been the morning for 500s...

4x200 as 100 stroke, 50 drill, 50 kick

10x50 on 1:00 as 25 fists, 25 stroke

500 try to hold 1:45/100y pace (made it in 8:35)

5x100 on 1:45 aim for 0-3 sec rest (no problem there)

500 try to beat your previous time by 5 sec (but, my lane mate wanted to use fins so I put them on & surpassed this by holding ~1:30/100y without trying hard)

6x50 on 1:00 as 25 fists, 25 stroke (probably was gonna be 10x50, but this is what coach gave us & time was running out)

100 ez breast/back

Bit more than one hour on the bike tonight. Beautiful evening to be outside!
