I thought I'd have good traction for today's run, but an unannounced snow fall came along and made today's 14 miler interesting.

Have good ones all.

7.75 miles in one hour on the TM this morning. I just didn't feel like running in the dark. My TM is on an unheated floor of the house and it was cold enough up there for hat and gloves, so I got a little feel of being outdoors.

Roots - I was unaware of this race - I am not in shape for it curently. Last fall I ran my fall marathon and then a moderately difficult 50 mile trail race 2 weeks later - If I was in that shape now, I would be all over it.

My goal this week is Miles - If I could run 3 times every day, I would. The will is strong, I hope the body is not weak. I have violated the 10% rule often.

Hmm, after reading everyone elses mileage today, my 3 mile run is feeling really insignificant!

Active recovery day for me.

6 easy miles at lunch - 4 of the miles I felt stoned from runners high. When I up the miles, it screws with my body, but a side benefit is very intense runners high

Don't feel bad aphigirl01, that's 3 more miles than I'm doing today!

No run today. Scheduled day off. I'm still achey and sore after yesterday's terrible long run.

I'm going to do my other exercise routine tonight.

Have a great day all!

51 minutes on the stationary cycle/just over 13 miles. Honestly, this felt harder than running to me. I was panting and sweating all over the bike.

Confession: I pretended I was running.

Another 2 miles running/walking, mostly running. I'm doing the C25K program, week 5 day 2, and it was extremely hard to do that last 3/4 mile, even stopped in the middle of it and had to push myself to start running again.

What a gorgeous night here in Cleveland. 65F and light wind at 7pm.

During my regular road loop down by Edgewater Dr, I'm treated to my favorite run by huge homes, then along Cliff Dr and my favorite view of downtown across the lake.

Tonight's run: 7mi easy, 59 min.

Sorry you did not know.

This 100km is serving as the US team selection race for the World 100km to be held later this fall.

If you cannot run, how about a relay team? You an fox-runr should run the 2-person relay. I think there are 2-10 person teams.

Either way, lots of talent coming there. I'm curious as to what you could do on that stage.

Good running. Keep it going.

I went for a run with the local running club tonight. I haven't run with them since before the ITBS b/c they go fast, and I haven't been up to running 5 miles.

So I got up the nerve and joined them tonight, figuring I could just turn around early if I wasn't doing well. But I had a great run! And met some new people since the last time I was there!

5 miles in 51:32 (still taking it slow for the knee)
