Hey, do the Humpty Hump. Happy hump day.

Rest day. Didnt get forced to hold over, but they are making me come in early which actually works out ok since me and some friends decided to participate in a St Patty's day pub run tomorrow night. Before I go to bed today I have to start a new project- heating and air in the man-cave.... Really don't know much about H&A but, I'm gonna give it a whirl....

RA- JD joined up here at a bad time I guess... when the site was switching over. He got fed up with it and all the problems before he got settled in.

Back to a trail that I haven't run on since fall this am. A little under 7, the trail was in okay shape, still hard and rutty in a lot of places... worked some different foot muscles.

Good morning BBS and zrun.

The schedule called for 200 repeats. So I did them on the road and did about half of .25 miles (.12-.13) as per my garmin.

Splits:

7:20; 6:57; 6:40; 6:56; 7:09; 7:01; 6:43; 6:45; 6:52; 6:58; 7:04; 6:13; Then I went at a fast pace on a street from stop sign to stop sign. .21 miles in 1:15(5:55).

Now it is time for some icing on the foot etc as it has been hurting a little bit lately. Probably due to some tight calves etc..

Have a great morning everyone.

I managed to haul my decrepit carcass out of bed this morning and get in 10.25 miles on my regular route along the forest preserve bike path. Nice and dark at 5:30am...headlamp makes things a like eery. Good job I didn't check my pace as I was going 30-40 seconds slower per mile than I thought. Just feeling funking and drained. The first person I encountered was a women dressed all in black running without a flashlight / headlamp and wearing headphones. Not the best idea in the world.

zrun - luckily we have a bike path AND a trail the track one another. Only a few icy spots.

BBS - tip: wire the HVAC before the pub crawl.

kfuller - nice job in the 200s

Humpty hump...funny, I just heard that song last week for the first time in probably 15 years. By the rapper with the huge nose. Not to be confused of course with Hump De Bump by Red Hot Chili Peppers which is a regular on my iPod.

Easy day planned for me today...probably 7 or so. I have a bag packed for midday but once again the "meetings boogeyman" is up to his usual mischief. So I may again have to wait until evening to get it in.

BBS - have fun with that hash run tomorrow. Remember to stay in your lane, don't want to get pulled over.

zrun - nice job on the trails, sounds a lot like my trail run earlier this week

kfuller - way to kick out those 200s.

RA - a decrepit 10.25 is better than a 0.

Flyby... Due to the IT issue I wasn't sure what I was gonna do today. Then, the UPS guy came with a package. Yep! New shoes! Only one thing to do. Laced 'em up and headed out for a run. Easy 3.33m on shortened neighborhood route. Felt pretty good. So, the plan for now is to continue training.

Another late one for me. I got home from work around 8pm. So out into the darkness I went. A little windy so I needed my windbreaker vest, but short sleeves underneath. Once I got warmed up it was quite pleasant. 5.7 miles total at an easy 8:15 pace and it felt effortless despite a really hard workout last night. I could have run much harder but I've got a hard one planned for tomorrow, so I made sure to save my powder for that.

Afterwards I did some free weight work and some leg lifts for the core.
