Morning all,

I've got a race on tap tonight -- club mile & 3k championship races at a local HS -- but I just might be getting out before then for an easy midday 5 or so. Co-worker is itching to get out and he keeps asking me if I want to run with him in an hour or so.

So I just might get a double in today. That would be two days in a row. One one hand - race tonight. On the other - NYC in November, need to start getting serious about training. And tonight is not a target race. Hmm...

4bm - I don't think I've ever completely forgotten that I've done a workout but it does seem like sometimes there are entire portions of a workout (esp. an early morning run) where I just zone out and can barely remember afterwards what I saw/experienced during that phase of the run. Almost like I'm taking a little nap during my run.

zrun - yeah, humid here too. But it's DC/NoVA, comes with the territory.

Dan - very nice. You are improving quickly.

kevin - nice job on the tempo, esp the fast finish

Chances - you're the big Eggo waffles fan, right? Better read this article. And BBS, maybe you should read it too and then get to an Aldi to see what the enemy is up to (they just opened one near my office, I might have to check it out).
