Good morning Dave.

I am going to try to get a TM run in at the gym. The air quality is awful and I don't think breathing in the polluted air semms very wise. So off to the gym in a bit.

I had planned on 3 easy miles on the streets today, but the weather is really sucky. 34* and raining. Guess Y'all can add me to the treadmill list as well.

4BM- If you saw the inversion here you would probably use the treadmill also.

I am thinking that I should take a picture of the air quality one of these days and post it here so you can see what it is like in January in Salt Lake City. Anyway I got in 5 miles in 44:22. The last mile I bumped the speed up .1 every .1 miles until I was at about 7:45 pace to end the run. Overall it was a good run this morning.

I decided to get back on track today so got up early and headed out. Planned to do the default 6.2 mile route but got all excited and ran my 10 mile route. I didn't see a soul for 1 hour... I guess running through the forest preserve in the dark isn't too popular. Finished with 10.5 miles and frosty eyebrows in the 10F temps. DW saw me and thought it was snowing...

kfuller - nice job on the TM 5'er. Increasing the speed is the only way I can get through a TM run these days.

BBS - wimp! We'll have to rename your "man cave" to "princess palace". ;)

Dan & 4boysmom - rest up

Dave - that's a nice looking TM tempo run.

zrun - it wasn't too bad this morning. Not very windy.

Morning all,

Like RA I was out dark & early, in my case for 7.6 chilly lead-legged miles. Just couldn't get it out of 1st gear this morning. Oh well, it's done.

Nice going all you treadmillers. Enjoy the rest Dan and 4bm.

Like Hawk, I did 7.6 miles today. Although I expect his dead legged run was faster than my run, which was a speed day. 2 X 2 mile tempo intervals.

Yes I am going nuts on the TM, especially when all their speeds are different. Would be nice if I could run on the same one every day. I can run outside but there are a lot of pollutants in the air I just don't need to be taking in more than I have too. The roads are mostly dirt and it is very dusty.
