Morning peeps

Speedwork for me today. 4x800 @ about 6:26 pace w/ 400 recoveries. Should get about 5 miles total on the TM.

I did 120 push ups and 150 crunches yesterday after my 5 miler.

Morning BBS, have fun hammering out those halves.

Fishbowling back and forth me this morning in the wee hours. 1300 yards total.

I will probably throw in a 5 mile super easy jog this afternoon, most likely on the TM since the weather here is nasty today -- cold, windy, rainy.

BBS--enjoy the hamster wheel.

Fishbowl for me this morning. Usual speed workout. I'm going to have to switch things up a bit because this one is getting too easy. Dead freakin' on my numbers. Still slow, but I am getting faster! Oh, and the New Year's resolution peeps are back. All lanes were full today. Mostly with swim a lap/rest at the wall. Uh, if'n you are going to do more resting than swimming perhaps y'all could share lanes???

This morning blew up so will try to get out for a 5'er over lunch to quell a foul mood . Last day of mild temps. Probably meet friends at the indoor track for some light speedwork. Flying out to Phoenix tomorrow just as the winter weather arrives. Fingers crossed for no delays.

kfluller - lhope you get that 5'er in.

4boysmom - my wife HATES the lane hoggers. Always a slow swimmer or aqua jogger in the "fast" lane.

Hawk - nice job in the pool.

BBS - I think may well copy that speedwork tonight.

BBS -- Nice pace on the speedwork, pal.

Hawk -- Good job in the pool, and looks like we're on the same plan for the 'mill later.

4boys -- Hate sharing lanes. Throws me off. I always allow it, but don't like it.

Kevin -- Rest up.

Visiting DW's uncle and cousins plus running the Arizona Rock'n'Roll half marathon on Sunday. Got comp'ed entries into the race. I'd hoped to be in shape to run a good time but the odds are stacked high against me. Heaven forbid that I lighten up and enjoy myself.

Good afternoon! I was up early for a strength workout: abs, legs and back. 6 miles at lunch on tired legs.

Forgot my Garmin and my phone's GPS decided not to work so I came up 1/4 mile short of 5 miles after measuring out my route. Legs are sore. A few intervals tonight should shake off the cobwebs without aggravating anything.

I seemed to be low energy and unmotivated this afternoon...finally got off my keester at almost 5pm to do my little treadmill shakeout jog. 5 miles, all at 6.0 miles per hour. I guess I needed that because I felt much better afterwards, and hopefully am well set up for some interval work tomorrow.
