<p>I have taken the logical and common sense advise, who the hell uses logic and common sense nowadays,  of some of the runners here and other friends locally who run about my heel issues and I have decided to put myself on the 15 day disabled list.</p>

<p>  My bike is messed up so I can't ride that.    This is going to be a tough 2 weeks.</p>

<p>Porty, I have a whole crew of kids this year!  I am still finding out who they are as individuals.  They are testing me, I am testing them.  One of them called my bluff the other day and wound up talking to the principal.  He tried it again yesterday.  Same result.  One of these days it will sink in.  There is a new sheriff in town and his name is Todd.</p>

<p>I was going to go for a bike ride... but woke up to rain. Hope it lets up later and it stays cool so I can get out for a ride. Other then that... its laundry day and other mundane stuff. </p>

<p>  I have been having heel problems off and on all summer long and the pain has never gone away.  I went and finally had my overdue annual physical about 2 weeks ago and talked to my doctor about it and he didn't think think it was PF or any kind of achilles tendon type issues since the pain is more directly right in the bone right at the back edge of my heel.  He had x-rays taken and no stress fracture was showing up.  He told me no more soccer for awhile, so I will bail out on the fall season for my company.  I asked him about running and he asked if my shoes were new enough and they all don't have a ton of miles so he said all I can do try and stretch more and go from there.  Well in the last week or so since I confirmed that with him my heel never feels better after my run so I am going to give myself about 2 weeks off.  Then if when I am running and it still bothers me again I guess I will have to go see an orthopedist or something.</p>

<p>could be tendonitis in the small tendons back there. Rest should help. I hope it does!</p>
